Anne Marie Wersching was born in St. Louis and raised there. In the beginning, she decided to pursue a profession in entertainment. She was a performer in the local theaters as well as danced for 14 years in a group called St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers. In Chicago she appeared in some of the touring shows in addition to the Utah Shakespearean Festival. Wersching earned a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts in Musical Theatre in 1999 at the Millikin University School of Theater and Dance, Decatur, Illinois. Moving to Los Angeles, two years later, she appeared in a revival of the Stephen Sondheim-Richard Rodriguez-Arthur Laurents production " at the Pasadena Playhouse, as well in making her screen debut in a scene from Star Trek: Enterprise.
